Guides & How-TosUpdate Passwords for Generic Accounts

This guide will walk through the steps needed to change a password for a generic Roche user account. The generic accounts are tracked here.

  1. Log into the CIDM portal
  2. Click on the top left menu bar, click on Passwords and Preferences and select Change Generic Account Password. <!— image: image (from original wiki uploads) —>
  3. If you are the account owner check the box next to the text “Are you the account owner?”. If you are not the owner of the generic account ensure you uncheck the box or the account will NOT show when searching. See the example below. <!— image: image (from original wiki uploads) —>
  4. Select the account and click next. Input the current password and input the new password twice. <!— image: image (from original wiki uploads) —>
  5. Click next and follow the onscreen instructions to finalize the password change.
  6. Update the entry in LastPass if applicable.
